The walls of this master bedroom in a luxury Florida home, were finished in a two-tone Venetian Gem plaster with a glossy waxed topcoat.

The substrate was made of lyme plaster (not drywall). So, we were able to actually carve into this surface to create the intricate borders. The grooves are about 1/16 in. deep. A brown colorwash tinted the lines of the geometric patterns.
